Ken Spencer
Relocation Specialist
Ken Spencer, a real estate professional with The Marriott Group, has a depth and breadth of experience in the relocation business not often matched when examining his diverse background. As a corporate executive for a number of small, medium and large companies (100,000 + employees), Ken has been on all sides of the relocation business including a recipient of executive relocation packages and benefits himself.
His current certification as SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) issued by HRCI and member of the largest international human resource organization, SHRM, enables Ken to maintain current with leading edge issues involving relocation from the corporate perspective. This is critical today when recruitment and placement of people resources often means a competitive edge for companies seeking only the best of treatment and handling of newly placed or internally transferred high level employees.
Ken has had HR staff specialists and managers reporting to him as part of his responsibility as a high level HR executive that managed corporate relocation programs. His unique position of having knowledge of a varied number of relocation packages from the corporate standpoint places him in a perfect position to understand how important it is for REALTORS® to fulfill the delivery part of the relocation benefit. Ken has worked with multiple corporate relocation transferees over the course of several years in the real estate business, including buyer clients assigned by Cartus, the nationally recognized corporate relocation firm.
